Ogury’s Commitment to Sustainability Wins at UK Company Culture Awards

Ogury is proud to share that we have been honored with ESG Program of the Year at the UK Company Culture Awards. This accolade recognizes the organizations that nurture their workforce, reward their staff, and create an environment that proves everyone is valued.

The awards ceremony took place on May 2nd in London, with this year’s jury made of industry leaders and experts from top-tier organizations like Vodafone UK, NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care, Deliveroo, Cactus Consulting Limited, Time Together and more. 

This recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to sustainability. As a member of the Climate Pledge initiative, Ogury is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2040. And 2023 marked a pivotal year for the company, with Ogury doubling down on sustainability and investing significantly in initiatives to drive responsible change. 

Over the past year, Ogury advanced its efforts in the matter through a strategic action plan centered on four key areas:

• Continuous measurement - to regularly monitor carbon emissions to refine our sustainability approach. 
• Campaign emissions optimization - to implement engineering and inventory strategies to optimize energy usage from Ogury servers during advertising activities.
• Ecosystem engagement - to actively involve service providers and employees in our sustainability journey, recognizing the need for collective action.
• Community contribution - to emphasize internal environmental initiatives and campaigns to drive employee engagement.

Ogury also partners with Givsly and its Season without Swag, which focuses on charitable giving instead of physical gifts during the holiday season to reduce carbon emissions. 

Additionally, we created The Sustainable Future Program to educate employees on sustainability and are assessing suppliers' sustainability efforts to ensure company-wide alignment.
